The Short

Lonnie is a father of three, Justin, Connor and Spencer Powell. He grew up in Indiana and joined the Navy at age 17. After the Navy Lonnie graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and went on to work in banking, and telecommunications operations leadership and then moved into sales where he has spent most of his time working for fortune 100 companies selling to fortune 100 companies. Lonnie earned an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Masters in Ministry from Bethel University and a Certificate in Organizational Leadership from the Townsend Institute at Concordia University.

The Long
 

Lonnie was a founding board member of the Chapel a large non-denominational church in Fort Wayne IN. Lonnie was also a founding leader of Celebrate Recovery at the Chapel which help a number of other recovery programs in NE Indiana.

 

Lonnie has completed 3 years in the Townsend Leadership Program, 2 years in the Makin Institute for Neuro Change and Process Group Leader training in the De Valle Relational Institute where he has gained the skills to lead effective and life changing process groups.

 

Lonnie is also a FAA licensed Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor and enjoys introducing others to flying and earning a pilot’s license.

 

Lonnie has over 17 years recovery experience himself having survived an addiction that took root after a hospitalization for pancreatitis. That experience with addiction changed the entire direction of life and resulted in the opportunity to gain the missing skills and character capacities needed to succeed in life.
